I just created an account for my son who will be 4-years-old in December...I can't wait to try it out with him after dinner! :) While I don't have my own review to give since I just signed up, I do have a review from a fellow blogger friend to share. Take a look...
"I registered for this free online learning game, GoGoKabongo, for my daughter about a month ago. I shared with you how much she enjoyed playing it, but today I wanted to share a feature that I like even better.
Whenever she plays a game or two, I receive an email from them telling me her progress. It also gives me a few offline activity ideas to help her improve her skills, which is great for me because I am totally not creative to come up with this stuff.
We've been really enjoying these games, and the levels get harder to match their abilities as they progress, so it is not something she is going to soon get bored with, either. It is also helping with her hand/eye coordination and computer skills, because she has gotten much more proficient operating the mouse and controlling the game on her own. This may not seem important for a 5 year old, but kids these days are learning how to operate computers in Kindergarten. Mine even has a 6 digit long ID number she is going to have to memorize and type in on a keypad each time she goes to the library, computer lab, or buys lunch! So I think that the game is preparing her for school in that aspect as well."
